This late in the tax year it's difficult to find a QUALITY tax preparer who has time to prepare your tax return for you. It is true that our office does not have any appointments available, but we can offer you the following option:
We can file an extension for you. Uncle Sam does allow an automatic 6-month extension to file your return. This does NOT mean your taxes, if you owe, can be paid in 6 months; any tax due is still due on April 18th so we can also set up an e-Payment to go with your extension filing. This is good for taxpayers who know they owe every year and can help you avoid costly penalties and interest. We can file extensions for existing clients easily as we already have all the necessary information. For new clients we will need to get some required information from you in order to get the extension filed.
