The provision that allows certain types of real property to be depreciated at a much lower 15-year recovery period has been made permanent by the PATH Act of 2015.  Prior to this provision these assets were usually depreciated over 39 years (nearly three times as long).  There are restrictions based on the type and use of property - contact me for more information.
